Get WISER Summit: New Narratives, Shared Futures

The Get WISER Summit is an annual event that spotlights and celebrates the women responsible for impactful systems change—social entrepreneurs. From May 24th-26th, key players from the social entrepreneurship ecosystem will discuss how we can redefine success to include the unique ways in which women lead social impact.

Following the launch of the WorldWISE Storytelling Project this year, the WISE team wanted the Get WISER Summit to further explore the connection between stories, impact, and the future of changemaking. As we uncover new narratives to redefine success to include the unique ways women lead social impact, we are building shared futures where women and girls are equal stakeholders in and agents of changemaking.

While stories help us commemorate and celebrate the past, we can also use them to imagine the future. In this year's Summit, we will use storytelling to uncover pathways to a future in which women innovators have the recognition and resources to realize their fullest changemaking potential.

Summit Objectives:
- To honor the girls and women embodying the Everyone a Changemaker (EACH) movement and leading transformative systems change
- To call for the deconstruction of structural barriers and limiting definitions of success that impede girls and women from recognition and advancement
- To hold space for women to celebrate their success, reflect, and tell their personal stories in their own words and their own languages

This event is free and open to the public. Register here: http://getwiser.ashoka.org/rsvp
