Applications have been opened for the second phase of the Heritage Initiative to Revive Handicrafts and Empower Entrepreneurship presented by the Credit Agricole Egypt Foundation for Development and Jisr Misr El Kheir.

The initiative aims to connect entrepreneurs with experience in the field of crafts with craft owners in the field of manufacturing innovative products from tally in Sohag to establish start-up companies and form teams made up of entrepreneurs, and crafts owners, providing technical support, studying the project, financial support of up to 250 thousand pounds for each company, and developing a suitable brand for handmade products to be able to compete in the local and international markets.

By joining the Heritage Initiative, you will get in return: 

• Technical and financial support of up to 250 thousand pounds for each startup company.

• Intensive training on business and operating skills through consultants specialized in the field.

• Individual sessions for career counseling and guidance.

• Establishing startup companies made up of entrepreneurs and trained craftsmen in Sohag.

• Registering startup companies legally.

• Supporting the product marketing process.

• Continuous support even after the program period.

Application requirements:

• Knowledge of project management, finance and marketing is required.

• Willingness to cooperate and work with trained craftsmen in Sohag within the framework of one work team.
