MENA Ecosystem Builders, an accelerator for accelerators, is being launched by Village Capital. This programme will choose locally-led entrepreneur support organisations and assist them in better serving and driving finance to youth-led high-growth potential companies while creating networks with key stakeholders across the area.

The MENA startup ecosystem, like that of many other emerging economies, is fragmented and faces the difficulty of duplicative support services, the effects of which are difficult to quantify. While it has been demonstrated that the growth of early-stage businesses increases job creation and contributes to the region's development, ESOs require assistance in order to sustainably progress the early-stage businesses they seek to assist, address impact gaps, and demonstrate the robustness of their strategies, operations, and quality services.
