Biban , the real television program in the Bahraini capital, Manama, which focuses on entrepreneurship and represents the first joint investment platform between the public and private sectors in the Middle East, has launched a period for receiving applications for projects interested in participating in the fourth season of the program.
The program encourages entrepreneurs looking for fundraising opportunities
When participating entrepreneurs are selected, they will undergo an intensive training camp provided by experts in the field of entrepreneurship, covering topics such as the basics of fundraising, business models, and market entry strategies, and preparing them to present their projects to a panel of investors to ensure their readiness for the program.
To apply for the fourth season of the “Biban” program, entrepreneurs must meet the following criteria:
The project must be able to achieve financial returns.
The project must have attractiveness in the markets.
Simple models may be rejected unless the founders have previous successes.
The founder should also have the necessary skills to achieve the company's goals, which considers the experience and successful track record of the founders to be an added advantage and that the project has high potential for growth and expansion.
“Beban” has a successful record spanning 3 seasons, with investments exceeding $6 million raised in the first and second seasons. The program was broadcast on leading channels in the GCC countries such as Al Rai Channel, SBC Channel, Dubai TV, Bahrain TV, and Oman Cultural Channel, in addition to the region’s first and largest video-on-demand platform, “Shahid.”
