The UNWTO Women in Tech Startup Competition: Middle East seeks female entrepreneurs from all over the world who are headquartered in the Arab region who want to expand their tech startup in the tourist industry and deliver sustainable solutions.

Which startups are eligible to apply?

Women in the Middle East must lead, own, or manage startups in any of the following countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen.

It could be an Idea Stage, an Early Stage, or a Series. A startup having a minimal viable product or idea ready for development and funding.

Have a full-time crew, a tried-and-true pilot, and a business plan.

Be scalable, with the possibility for international expansion.
