The Emkan program for innovative ideas are pleased to announce the opening of applications for a new round of it’s program in Luxor and Qena Governorates in the following sectors:
Sustainable agriculture and food production
Waste management
Sustainable energy Taking advantage of the available business opportunities according to the UNIDO study:
Extracts of medicinal and aromatic plants and dried spices for local markets
Products manufactured from agricultural waste (animal feed, agricultural fertilizers)
Renewable energy sources (biogas production units/solar energy units)
Dried vegetables and fruits (such as tomatoes and dates)
Advanced agricultural services for palm and fruit farms
The program will provide training on:
How to build a business model and access distinctive investment opportunities in Luxor and Qena governorates, according to UNIDO studies from 2014 until now.
Selecting and developing business models and plans with the highest chances of success.
The training is implemented by the program’s technical partner - Chemonex Egypt Consulting Company - an engineering and administrative consulting company that has implemented similar programs in Egypt, Tunisia and Mauritania with more than 5,000 entrepreneurs.
